Finally

Finally, Ripley carries on the argument by questioning the return on investment of college. By quoting Donald Trump’s claim at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, “America has the best colleges and universities in the world!”, she builds up her logos appeal to her argument that “accept fewer than 10 percent of applicants”, and “fewer than 1 percent of American students attend highly selective colleges like those”. Although it supports her point of view, she fails to provide the validity of these numbers, which turn out to be a hindrance her reasons. In spite of this, Ripley still chooses logos as the main approach for her justification.
