Wearable technology grows faster.it appears prominently in consumer electronics with the popularity of the smartwatches and activity trackers. Apart from this it is also used for navigation systems, advanced textiles and healthcare and often used for tracking a user’s vital signs of data related to health and fitness and biofeedback indicating emotions. These wearable technologies perform same computing tasks as mobile phones and laptops It also provides sensory and scanning features which is typically not seen in mobiles and laptops. Also. It is more compatible than handheld devices. One of the major feature of wearable technology is it connect with internet which enables data to be transfer from one devices to another.

Generally, wearable technology will have some form of communications capability and will allow the wearer access to information in real time. Disadvantages: –
1.Some wearable devices measures data inaccurately. Like the devices which is used for measuring heart rate sometimes does not read the correct reading, so this is dangerous for the patients’ health.
2. Google glass wearable devices is sensitive device because its glass is not bullet proof.

As well as privacy issues in relation to the general public, personal data about the wearer of such devices gives rise to other data protection issues. For example, certain health and fitness gadgets can have GPS location functionality and can capture a huge amount of data over time about a person’s location, activity and even health. This personal data may then be uploaded into the cloud and analysed by the technology provider. In the EU, this is fine provided that the technology provider is being transparent about how the data is being used, shared and transferred, the wearer has given informed consent about what is being done with their data, and the provider has put in place adequate security measures to protect it. Whether this happens in practice is another matter.

It’s important to remember that, although wearable technology may very well be the ‘Next Big Thing’, this outcome is by no means certain. Some of the privacy issues outlined above are, therefore, theoretical, and may remain that way if this category does not become as popular as many predict. As the technology becomes more prevalent in the near-term, however, social norms are likely to help regulate the use of certain wearable technology such as smart glasses until the (notoriously slow) law catches up. For example, ‘Google Glass etiquette’ is currently a hotly debated topic in digital media. The intensity of this debate underlines the importance of the privacy issues – theoretical or real – raised by this and other wearable technology.
The evolution and increased use of wearable gadgets like smart watches, contact lenses, spectacles, caps, jewelry and trackers among others will trigger the development of highly-sophisticated mobile apps. In this paper, it is proposed that wearable technologies will ease the life for the people with impairments; enable companies to interact with the other business people easier, to conduct market research more effectively, to apply sales and service strategies more efficiently; enable policemen, firemen, military members to provide public and personal safety; enhance the virtual reality in games, and enable the doctors to monitor the health indicators of the people continuously.
