Going into my speech

Going into my speech, I had to take a deep breath before I started. Once I spoke “who am I? who am I?!” in a loud and confused tone. I started to relax a little. I think this was because I was finally getting used to speaking in front of people, or it could have been just because I knew the people in my class a little better after they presented their speeches. As I sat down from giving my speech, I felt comfortable with how it went. My attention grabber went just as I had hoped, I stated all the points I had planned on, and I explained things just as I had wanted to. My purpose of my speech was stated clearly and I stayed on topic. The topic the was chosen is related to the audience, because the audience also had an item that represents them too. After I sat down, I felt like I had successfully managed to perform my speech.
