The best energy source I recommend to New York City’s Department of energy as the best way to obtain energy for the future is the Wind energy and hydroelectric energy. The main environmental issues occur in NYC today is air pollution and water supply. We need to find a sufficient energy source to generate NYC without having a negative impact on the environment. Wind and hydroelectric energy are good and sufficient sources to use to ensure our safety. These two energy sources are renewable energy source which means that the energy is generated from natural sources like wind, rain, tides, geothermal heat since they are naturally replenished. Now this is exactly what we need because it will improve public health and environmental quality, Air and water pollution released by coal and gas that is linked to society’s health problems and will make it even worse in the future which is why we must we get away from non-renewable energy sources.
