In this article the global warming is the main reason for the increase of the warming and temperature of the earth because of which the researchers found that the large number of the animal and plant species are being loss on earth. At UEA and James Cook University in Australia the researchers studied 115000 species which includes 31,000 insects, 8000 birds, 1700 mammals and many more. According to the article it is said that insects are very sensitive to the climate change so the lead researcher Prof Rachel Warren found that 31000 insects species studied ,eighteen percent of the 31000 insects are predicted to lose because of the temperature or warming at 2 degree C and by decreasing the warming to 1.5 degree C, the lose of insects species will be reduced to six percent. So, by limiting the warming to 1.5-degree C the animals that will get benefited are the endangered black Rhinoceros which is highly threatened by poaching and habitat loss. Carbon dioxide gas is the main cause of the global warming as this gas is greenhouse gas and this gas absorbs more heat but does not let the heat out so because of this the temperature or warming of the earth increases and according to this article it is said that if this CO2 gas is reduced in the atmosphere which is the great cause of global warming then almost fifty percent of insects would lose half their range.
